You Write Your Life’s Story

You write your life’s story by your thoughts, focus, and actions. Learn to watch your thinking and edit well.

“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”
― Albert Einstein

THOUGHTS
Learning how to watch one’s thinking is a gift not given to many people in childhood. It’s too easy to slip into negativity and the “Poor Me” syndrome. Imagine training yourself to turn every negative thought around. Try that exercise and see how long it takes for you to think of something negative. Stop! When you’re told to think of something negative, you automatically do that. Think of the last happy moment that happened to you. Think about the last sad news you got. Think about the last happy news you got. Write the following sentence down with a pen to remember” I will turn negative thoughts around.”

“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t—you’re right.”
― Henry Ford

FOCUS
You must learn to think about what you want to invite into your life. What happened is over. Take the positive lessons and use those to grow. What’s happening tomorrow is a direct result of your positive or negative thoughts, attitude, and actions (or none) today. Focus on the goodness you desire to bring forth. Keep your vision in front of you. However, know that it’s all right to change direction. Just follow your own dream and don’t let others sway you to follow their dream. If your dream or vision of your life blends with another’s business, and it’s a fair, noble, and honorable path to follow, give thanks and take action.

ACTION
You’ve heard to start with what you have and where you are. That’s fine if you base your actions on values like love and gratitude. Think with love in your heart. Think about who you love: God, yourself, your family, friends, Mother Earth…  Ask, “what is the most loving thing I can do today?” Go do that.
